Oasis
Oasis (o-a'-sis) n., pl. -ses  1) A fertile place in the desert, due to the presence of water. 2) Any place offering welcome relief from difficulty, dullness, etc.

At Jesus MCC, we offer a network of Oasis Groups. These are small groups--open to all--that meet weekly for friendship, support, Bible study, and prayer. Our Oasis Groups are the single best way to connect and make wonderful friendships at Church. We invite you to be part of something special. Find your Oasis!

Pick a time:

• Monday Evening Oasis
  When: Mondays at 6:45 pm at the church. Leader: Theresa Mull.
• Tuesday Evening Oasis
  When: Tuesdays at 7:00 pm at the church. Leader: Jim Rednour.
• Friday Morning Oasis
  When: Fridays at 9:00 am at the church. Leader: Melissa Bruce.

Pick an interest group:

• African-American Oasis
  Spiritual support by and for African-Americans. When: Thursdays at 6:30 pm at the church. Leader: Tina Johnson.
• Couples Oasis
  When: Mondays at 7:00 pm at the church. Leaders: Julie Bakehorn and Lori Swan.
• Family Oasis
  For parents and children. When: Every other Wednesday at 6:30 pm at the church. Leader: Melody Merida.
• Fellowship Galactica
  We use episodes of Battlestar Galactica as a springboard for discussion about spirituality, religion, and life in general. When: The first and third Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm. Where: At David Wene and David Squire's home. Leader: David Wene.
• God on the Radio (WGOR)
  Finding God in all kinds of music. When: Sundays at 7:30 pm at the church. Leaders: Penny Dean and Katrina Davis.
• Jesus Seekers Oasis
  When: Tuesdays at 7:00 pm. Where: at a member's home on the south side of Indianapolis. Leader: Roger Brown.
• Positively + Oasis
  Spiritual support for anyone affected by HIV. When: Wednesdays at 7:00 pm at the church. Leader: Larry Gist.
• Singles Oasis
  When: Tuesdays at 7:00 pm at the church. Leader: Greg McMullen.
• TransFormations Oasis
  Spiritual support for anyone living as transgender, those whose interests and expressions are outside of cultural norms for their birth gender, and those seeking to better understand. When: Sundays at 2:00 pm at the church. Leader: Oliver Danni Green.
