Holy Week at Jesus MCC

Devotions for Lent: Every Wednesday during Lent, we're offering a special devotional as part of Be Still and Know.

Palm Sunday Serivce, April 1, 9:30 am, 11:00 am, and 6:00 pm, with palms to mark the start of Holy Week.

Maundy Thursday Service, April 5, 6:30 pm.

This Maundy Thursday service will be like none we've ever had. We will celebrate a traditional Jewish Seder observance, which marks the start of Passover. This is a symbolic meal (much like Communion) with the elements serving as reminders of the Passover.  This is the ritual Jesus shared with his followers the Thursday before his death.

The purpose of the Seder is to remember Israel's deliverance from Egypt, and we hope to connect with our own stories of deliverance and celebrate the ways God always guides us through.

Following the Seder, we'll gather in the sanctuary for reflection, communion, and prayers for healing. Prior to the Seder there will be the opportunity to experience foot washing, if  you wish.

Maundy Thursday will be real "hands on" way to connect the Old Testament stories with the resurrected Christ.  Please RSVP to Pastor Tammy if you plan to attend the Seder.

Good Friday Service, April 6, 6:30 pm.

A dramatic musical presentation: For Such A One As This. We will peer into the thoughts of Judas, Pilate, Mary, Peter and others who experienced the final days of Jesus' journey here on earth. Don't miss this captivating worship service.

Easter Egg Hunt, April 7, 10:00 am. All kids are invited to join us for cool games, exciting prizes and lots of eggs to find!

Easter Services, April 8, 9:30 am, 11:00 am, and 6:00 pm. Join us as we celebrate the power of resurrection!
