Two Brand New Oasis Options

The Carmel Oasis will meet weekly on Mondays at 7:30 pm beginning October 9. They will meet at the home of Chris Tenpas, and will be led by
Louann McCammon. They will begin by studying the book Bad Girls of the Bible. This study is not just for women. All of us have much to learn from both the men and women of the Bible.
The Mindstretcher Oasis will meet weekly on Tuesdays
at 6:30 pm beginning October 17. They will meet at the home of Kristen Herrman on the Eastside (near E. Washington and Arlington). This Oasis Group provides a safe environment to ask questions you've always wondered about, but were afraid to voice for fear of being thought a heretic. They will begin by studying
Living The Questions, a 12-week DVD and web-based study that includes sermon and lecture clips of leading theologians, church leaders, and sociologists, digital parables, spiritual practices (lectio divina, body prayer, journaling), spiritual disciplines (centering, openness, patience),
and suggestions for acts of social justice. This group will be led by Kristen Herrman.
