A Sunday Morning Story

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

Our Gospel Choir helps us celebrate Black History Month by re-enacting — in testimony and song — what they experienced growing up in African American churches.

As they weave their story, they invite each of us to reflect on our own past — and what we can learn from both the beautiful and difficult experiences.

Today’s scripture: Philippians 3:12-16

Powered by God

Sunday, February 24th, 2008

Why does it seem so often that we have no power for living? Why does it seem that we just drag from one day to the next, never really engaging in life? Deacon Robert Ferguson will bring us a message of hope and encouragement.

Who Let the Dogs Out?

Sunday, May 27th, 2007

When you were a kid, did you ever get lost? Remember how that felt?

As an adult, have you ever had a similar experience spiritually or emotionally — a time when you felt completely lost? In this week’s sermon, Pastor Jeff will interview Robin Herman as she tells her dramatic story of a catastrophic car wreck and a lost dog. From her experience, we’ll learn much about God and ourselves.
